Tonight’s accomplishment: I finished a book. 📚😂

Jenna Finds a Dog by Terence Rousseau showed up in my mailbox last week as a review copy, and tonight I finally sat down and read it cover to cover.

And because apparently simply reading books isn’t enough for me anymore… I just sent off TEN questions for the author to answer. 🤣

There were parts of Jenna’s story that left me with questions—which, honestly, makes me even more interested to hear what the author has to say about the character, the choices he made while writing her story, and some of his own experiences that inspired the book.

So, full review + author Q&A coming soon to In My Mom Era. 👀📖

Now I’m calling CEO hours officially CLOSED for the night.

Probably.

…unless I find another email. 😂

Yes, the Book Situation Is a Whole Thing 😂📚

If you’re new here and wondering how I reached the point where books are arriving for review, meet the original problem: 3,888 books on my TBR. Then I made it worse by taking a proper inventory in My TBR Is Completely Out of Control (And I’m Not Sorry). Apparently the logical next step was interviewing authors. 👀

[…] Control (And I’m Not Sorry). And now publishers are sending me books, which is how I ended up finishing a review copy and getting to interview the author. This seems unlikely to cure the problem. […]

Feel free to partake in the chaos that is my life! 5 kids, a giant TBR list, dreamer of vacations, researcher of anything remotely interesting. Sums it up in a nutshell. Did I mention chaos? Lots. Of. Chaos.
