You mostly know about me by now, through various posts and articles I’ve written—and, as most of my family will tell you, I put most of my life on some form of social media.
I didn’t think I was THAT bad, HAHA, until a few years ago, when one of my aunts commented that she never asks me how I am because it’s all on Facebook.
That made me take a step back.
I don’t post as much now. I just enjoyed sharing my life with people I thought were friends who otherwise would have no idea what I was up to.
For several years, I posted something at least once a day because there was this cool “challenge” going around—post something every day for 100 days and label it “Day 1 of #happydays,” so on and so forth.
Well, I thought it was such a great idea, I did it for several years.
Until that aunt made me feel like an idiot and I realized that people don’t really care what I’m up to.
They’re just nosy. 😂
Just like I’m sure most people reading this blog couldn’t care less what I have to say. They’re just nosy—or curious if I’ll succeed.
I will. Just watch.
Anyways, I was chatting with my mom the other day and she told me that my family still thinks I post my whole life online, LOL, and I was shocked. I really don’t think I do. But either way, it’s certainly not as much as it was.
Which brings me to THIS post—because I so just went off on a tangent there, LOL. Sorry!
I’m going to tell you a few things about each of my kiddos, because you likely don’t know them.
And I think you’d be lucky to. ❤️
Declan
Declan, my baby boy, is 9, going on 10—this month, actually!
He is so damn smart and inquisitive. He wants to be around me all the time. He’s told me before that he’s never moving out or getting married OR having kids (because I had enough for his taste LOL).
He is fascinated by science and nature. He could spend all day outside watching an ant colony if I’d let him.
He’s going to go far, my Dec man. ❤️
Tristan
Tristan is 8, going on 22.
He’s always up for joking and trying to use his funniness to stay out of trouble.
Hint: It doesn’t always work. 😂
Most people see him and get the whole, “WOW, that kid is massive and such a goof!”
But they don’t see the one who cuddles up next to me and says, “Guess what, Mom?… I LOVE YOU UP HERE, DOWN THERE AND ALL AROUND!!!”
I couldn’t tell you where the hell that came from, LOL, but we say it to each other multiple times a day.
T will go far, just like Dec. 💓
The two of them fight… well, like brothers. HA.
But don’t badmouth either one of them, because they have each other’s backs no matter what is going on between them on any given day. 💚
Nora
Nora, my sweet, sassy, super-independent 3-year-old.
Our first girl—and she’s a firecracker.
She’s so damn sweet and as bossy as hell, especially to her kids (the twins).
She’s got my attitude and we already butt heads, so I know we’re going to go through some STUFF when she’s older.
But she’s my little shadow right now.
She loves her bear-bear, her cow, her Gramma and Gampa (both sets), her kids, her Dec, her Tistin, her Gace (Grace, our dog), and her Sayie (Sadie, our dog).
Everything and everyone are “hers” right now.
And I’m all for it. 🩵
Adaline
Adaline is the “elder” twin by 3 minutes—a fact I’m sure she’ll hold over her brother when they’re older.
She’s tough as nails and as independent as they come.
She’s still my little snuggle bug, though, and loves to just settle in with me on the couch to watch Paw Patrol.
As long as she’s got her bunnies—there are THREE, and if EVER one gets ruined or we lose one, it will NOT be pretty!!—or her “buddy dee dees,” as she calls them, she’s content.
She’s just started saying “I love you” back, but she says:
“I luv uuuu.”
And it’s so damn cute.
I have no idea where her personality will go from here, but judging her now, our Addy is off to a great start. 💛
Colton
Colton, the tiny warrior and younger 2-year-old twin.
He is so fun-loving, and his laugh is absolute perfection. If I could bottle it up and sell it, I’d be rich.
But I am rich, because I have him.
He’s such a joy to watch. He already tries to push his way into hanging out with Dec and T—and they’re happy enough to have him there.
It’s so sweet.
He is also saying “I love you” back, but he says it like Addy does:
“I luv ooooo.”
They just can’t get that Y in front yet, LOL.
I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
He loves trucks right now and points them out all the time. I’m so lucky to be home and able to see him grow day by day.
He’ll be a fine gentleman someday. 🤎

There you have it.
All my children, compressed into a little post on my corner of the internet.
If they see this someday, I hope they know how much I love them and cherish them. 😘
I wish I could give them the world.
